For its welcoming atmosphere, and its extensive menu of freshly prepared meals at value for money prices, the Chester Moor is hard to beat. It has a large no-smoking dining area and, when the weather is good, a pleasant outdoor area for meals and drinks.

The Chester Moor lies on the A167 just south of Chester-le-Street and bookings can be made on 0191 388 3390.

the inn on the green
For that special occasion or simply to treat yourself, try our latest gastro pub, the Inn on the Green. The fresh modern décor compliments the excellent menu and service is discreet and attentive. The dining area is fully non-smoking. The Inn is not open on Mondays, but serves lunches and dinners Tuesday - Saturday and lunches each Sunday. For late Sunday lunches try our money saving offers after 3pm.

The Inn on the Green is situated in Waldridge Village, near Chester-le-Street and it is advisable to book on 0191 389 0439.
